When Kari told me that things would be really interesting from here on out about a month ago, she wasn't kidding!
Morgen has started sitting up! She doesn't do it for too long yet, but it seems that each time she sat today, her balance was better and better. So cute!
To date, M. is eating oatmeal, brown rice cereal, sweet taters, prunes, apple sauce, and bananas. Tomorrow we'll add peas to the mix to see what she thinks. Carrots and avocados are on the agenda in the coming weeks as well.
M. has added a tummy pivot to rolling as a form of movement, and today she did a backwards scoot. She put her weight on her hands, pushed up on her feet and ooched backwards a tad. She's also doing a move that's like a downward dog but with her face on the ground instead of her hands. She usually does this in the crib and mumbles into the sheet. Perhaps we should have named her for a great Yogi?
I talked to the doctor about M. spitting up. It started a couple of months ago but seems to have increased recently. Doc Cohen thinks she may have a reflux issue, so we're going in on Thursday. Then we go back for her 6 month appt the first week in April. It's a good thing those appts are long cause I have a lot of questions!! ;)
Time for the dream feed and then sleep for Mommy.
Night!
