Morgen has indeed figured out how to roll over and over, as opposed to back and forth. She doesn't do it too often yet, but I see the start of childproofing in our future.
Her dexterity seems to increase daily! Last week she played by herself for what seemed like ages while I put away the clothes that she's outgrown (!).
She's also sort of started eating some solids again - oatmeal and brown rice cereal and apples. She's not excited (and looks like I'm trying to feed her something that may poison her), but she's tolerating being fed a few bites.
Feet are a big hit right now. I have to pry her feet from her hands to get a diaper on her little tushy. Her grip is amazing. Her jaws are pretty darn strong, too. We forgot a paci while we were out and about over the weekend, and Jeff had to use his finger as a substitute. He thought he might not get back more than a nub after a few minutes of gnawing by our first born.
We're getting back in to the swing of working out with M. in our lives. We swam on Sunday, and it worked out well. One of us swims while the other plays with the munchkin. We're swimming a few laps each right now, so we can be in and out of the pool in no time at all. Today we'll trade off running, as she's still a little small for the jogging stroller harness.
Oh! And we started looking at cars yesterday!! We went by Toyota and checked out all of their models - the Prius and the Camry are under consideration. On to Honda, Nissan (maybe), and Subaru.

Warning about the Prius: One of my old colleagues (an expert in indoor air quality) actually did a study of toxic emissions levels in different car types, and he found that the Prius and most other Toyotas had higher than standard volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions due to their use of synthetic materials with unhealthy adhesives inside their cars. Note that "new car smell." So, even though though they use hybrid technology, beware their "indoor air quality"- esp since you now have a baby who may be sensitive to these types of things. Standard air quality levels in most new cars are not great, but Volvo actually has the best track record for air quality inside their cars...
