Keeping Us On Our Toes Already

Imagine, if you will...Jeff, me, both sets of parents, Tim and Beth, Mike, and nurse Polly in a tiny room, as I'm monitored and IVed and told what to expect in the coming hours. Then the sonogram tech comes in and shoos everyone out to check Baby Girl's position. She pokes me (not gently) and then covers my belly with goo and starts the search. Hmmm...no head up high. Look! It's right where it's meant to be - at the bottom. Dr. Doss walks in just in time to check me and let me know that I still haven't made any significant progress towards labor.

They wipe off the goo, take out the IV, and send us on our way to wait for labor to begin...

More on Thursday when we see the doc again (if not sooner).
