Morgen is 6 weeks old now, and she's keeping us in stitches. Her favorite activities seem to be: making funny faces, taking baths, smiling and laughing (as of today!!), and visiting local restaurants with Mom and Dad. Oh, and watching the Cowboys. She's seen most of the games this season.
Weeks 3- 5 are sort of a blur, but Morgen has been so portable that she's visited Madam Mam's, Trudy's, Shady Grove, and Freddie's so far. She's also attended her first two triathlons, her first kiddo birthday party (Happy Birthday, Jax!) at RadiJazz, her first Party Girl birthday celebration, and her first Halloween party. (Yes, this is doubling as my baby book for now!)
Morgen got to meet her great grandma Goodwin yesterday; pictures coming soon.
Right now, she's excited about spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Shook, who are going to visit while Mom works half days two days a week. I've created a handbook, and Jeff will be around for questions, but we think they're both brave and generous to take this on. (Thanks, Mom and Dad!)
We're also gearing up for our big Thanksgiving celebration with the semi-local in-laws and out-laws (Shooks, Lovaas', and Oltremaris).
We're behind on email and thank yous, so please know that we really appreciate all of you!
Morgen had her first photo shoot about a week and a half ago, so we should have those pics soon. Look for a link to check them out. She was a real trooper and didn't melt down until the end, so there are some great shots, especially with cousin Audrey.
